Established in 1952, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is a national foreign trade and investment promotion agency.
As of July 20021year, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade had 17 industry branches, 48 local branches and more than 600 branches and county-level international chambers of commerce; There are nearly 70,000 member enterprises in China.
Achievements:
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade/China International Chamber of Commerce, as the national guarantee and issuing chamber of commerce for ATA carnet system approved by the State Council and authorized by the General Administration of Customs, undertakes the Customs Convention on Temporary Import of Goods into ATA carnet and its related conventions.
The Convention on the Temporary Import of Goods and its annexes, as well as the guarantee and certification work under the relevant laws and regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC), implement unified management of China ATA Documentary, and the Legal Affairs Department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is the functional department of guarantee and certification work, specifically exercising management functions.
