In the third year of Tongzhi (1864), a large-scale peasant uprising broke out in Kuqa, Xinjiang. The insurgents once overthrew the local rule of the Qing government, and Rexiding and Zhuo, who had important influence in the local area, were elected as leaders and gained leadership, and established the "Khan Zhuo" regime in Kuqa, which became the largest separatist force in Xinjiang at that time.
1865, Akuta, the vast khanate of Central Asia, the British-supported aggressor, invaded Xinjiang. Rexiding and Zhuo rose up against the invaders and organized many western expeditions to expel them, but they all failed. 1867 Agubo attacked and killed and replaced the regime of Rexidin Khan. 187 1 year, Russia took the opportunity to send troops to occupy Ili, the military and political center of Xinjiang, and stepped up its competition with Britain for the northwest border of China. It was not until 1878 that the Qing army recovered Xinjiang that the British and Russian attempts to dismember and embezzle the northwest territory of China by using Agubo were completely crushed.
During the three years of Khan and Zhuo's regime, Rexidin successively minted double-sided ancient Uighur coins named after his surname in Kuqa and Aksu, which is a typical category of coins in China, and also shows Rexidin Khan's determination to resolutely oppose foreign aggression.
