1945 In September, the people's government took over the school, and several schools merged and were named Dongshan Middle School. Later, it was renamed as Yantai General School of Jiaodong Public School, Yantai Middle School of Shandong Province and Yantai No.1 Middle School of Shandong Province. From 1948 to 1966, the school developed on a large scale and trained a large number of outstanding talents for national construction. In the late 1940s and early 1950s, the history of Yantai No.1 Middle School was heavily written because of two great images. One is Link Cal, a teacher who is known as the "soul of teachers", and the other is Yu Zisan, a graduate of our school who is known as the "soul of students" in the student movement before liberation.
Yu Zisan, formerly known as Yu Zexi, 1938 was admitted to our school. He is a junior 11 student in Zhifu Middle School. 1944 was admitted to Zhejiang University, which is known as "Oriental Cambridge". There, he joined the frontline service group of Zhejiang University and served in the frontline battlefield. 1945 joined the "trendy club", the peripheral organization of China * * * production party. 1946 12, as a representative of the student self-government association of Zhejiang University, led demonstrations against American atrocities regardless of personal safety. 1in the spring of 947, he was elected as the chairman of the student self-government association of Zhejiang University and the chairman of the strike committee, leading the "May Movement" with the slogan of "anti-hunger and anti-civil war" and leading the demonstrations of Zhejiang University students. In the same year, 10129 October, he was killed by the reactionary Kuomintang authorities. Zhu Kezhen, then president of Zhejiang University, praised Yu Zisan as a good student. Known as the "soul of students" of the student movement before liberation, China was the representative of the patriotic movement before liberation and wrote an immortal chapter in the history of the youth movement in China. The loyal bones of Yu Zisan's martyrs are buried in Wansongling on the Phoenix Mountain near the West Lake in Hangzhou. The bronze statue of Yu Zisan's martyrs still stands in Zhejiang University, and his fame will live with mountains, rivers, the sun and the moon. The Education Award Foundation for Mr. Yin Yongzheng of Yantai No.1 Middle School was established by Mr. Yin Yongzheng, Chairman of Zheng Da Company, member of Yantai CPPCC, member of the Standing Committee of Zhifu District CPPCC and honorary president of Yantai No.1 Middle School in June 1995. With a heart full of hope for his hometown, Mr. Yin resolutely donated 520,000 yuan to develop the education in his hometown, and rewarded those students with excellent academic performance and outstanding achievements and faculty members who made outstanding contributions to education and teaching with interest every year. Teacher Yin Yongzheng's support for education and concern for the growth of future generations have injected new vitality into Yantai No.1 Middle School, a key middle school in Shandong Province with a history of more than 70 years, and promoted the all-round development of the school's work. In the past eight years, the teachers and students of this school have been awarded 62 1 time, with a total amount of 359,000 yuan, which has greatly inspired and promoted the teachers and students.
