This problem is caused by the spooler service not allowing interaction with the desktop.

1. In the control panel, double-click the service icon.

2. Click the spooler service, and then click the Start button.

3. Ensure that the service is configured to log in with the system account and allow interaction with the desktop.

4. If invalid network printer port names are displayed in the list, you can delete them in the Print Manager.
