On May 12, FIFA and the Organizing Committee announced the official mascot of the 20 19 French Women's World Cup, and a French chick named "Etienne" became the "spokesperson" of this tournament.
Etienne's name comes from the French word "étoile". According to the design concept, Etienne and 1998 Footix, the mascot of the French World Cup, are the chicks of Footix, a gallic rooster.
20 19 Women's World Cup is outlined by the shape of the champion trophy, with the main body of the trophy being blue and white, and there are eight beams of light around the football at the top of the trophy, which symbolizes the eighth Women's World Cup.
The 20 19 Women's World Cup will be held in nine French cities from June 7th to July 7th of that year, namely Grenoble, le havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valencia. The opening match will be held in Paris, and the semi-finals and finals will be held in Lyon.
