Why are there running exercises in junior and senior high schools?
From personal experience alone, most middle and high schools do morning exercises in summer and run exercises in winter. The so-called "running exercise" means that the school draws an area for each grade and uniformly requires students to run and warm up. Running exercise is only carried out in cold days, and it is not required in hot environment. Therefore, the purpose of running exercise is obvious, that is, it can make students warm up and exercise a good physique. But in my opinion, although high school students study hard, proper running exercise can exercise, combine work and rest and reduce stress. Theoretically, this is true. In fact, when running, there are many people and the speed is slow. When you go outdoors, you just breathe in more cold air. After running, your hands and feet will warm up temporarily. After sitting down to study for a period of time, the body temperature will drop slowly, the sweat generated during running will evaporate, and the body will feel cooler. In high school, there are usually four classes in the morning. If it's running after the second class, no problem. It's often sunny at this time and it's warm in winter. Running exercise is carried out after getting up early. After running, go to self-study early before eating. In this way, students who study hard at night will not only improve their learning efficiency, but also spend their daytime study in sleepiness. Having said that, it's all personal feelings. Long-term running exercise is definitely better than no exercise. In fact, I also agree to exercise in physical education class, but there are hard and fast rules for early exercise, so I can only adapt to it.
