On September 2015 16, the 34th OCA Congress was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. The first topic of the meeting was to listen to the presentation of the Hangzhou Olympic bid delegation. On September 6th, 20 15/3: 03 Beijing time, at the 34th Congress held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, after voting by the OCA Congress, OCA Prince Ahmed solemnly declared that "Hangzhou, China won the right to host the 2022 Asian Games". As a bid city, Hangzhou became the third city in China to host the Asian Games after Beijing and Guangzhou.
