The indiscriminate bombing of American planes relied on the air defense forces of the volunteers. The equipment of the volunteer air defense forces is also very poor, especially the lack of high-altitude searchlights and radars that are regarded as the "eyes" of the air defense forces. Therefore, on the battlefield, some air defense units have to hone the "blind shooting tactics" to judge the position of enemy planes by sound, just like the "blind man" in martial arts novels, which can kill the enemy only by ear strength. However, this peculiar tactic is unusual and difficult to practice in a very short time, so it cannot be used as a conventional tactic. In order to improve the hit rate of anti-aircraft guns, searchlights and radars are still indispensable. In fact, this kind of radar and searchlight has long been a common equipment in Europe, America and Japan during World War II. In their view, is it an air defense force without these? It can be seen that there was a big gap between the equipment of the volunteers and the US military! In the 1950s and 1960s, searchlights were often seen in various works of art representing urban life, even in commodity packaging or advertisements (although they were not called advertisements at that time). Our army also has searchlights and radars, but the number is small, and priority is given to deployment in Shanghai, the most important industrial city, for air defense. Shanghai's air defense forces are equipped with searchlights and radars to prevent the invasion of Chiang Kai-shek's plane from the isolated island. Therefore, in the first two years of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, this unit never participated in the war. Later, the Soviet Union sent an air force and an air defense force to replace our army in Shanghai. This unit bent on "fighting" with the US military on the battlefield finally got its wish. 1In July, 952, this air defense unit was transferred to the battlefield to resist US aggression and aid Korea. Thanks to the searchlights and radar of this unit, the shooting accuracy of the air defense unit has increased by 90%, and the loss of American aircraft has increased a lot at once. This made the US military very angry. In order to eliminate the "eyes" of the volunteers, they dispatched two-thirds of the planes to attack the air defense units equipped with searchlights. The troops suffered heavy losses and had to move their positions frequently. The U.S. military regards it as a thorn in the side and a thorn in the flesh, and wants to pull it out quickly, so it keeps sending fighters everywhere to search for this unit. In order to deal with the enemy's attack, our air defense forces also used wisdom to invent and create a set of magical tactics. 1953 18 10 18 night, several US F-80 fighter planes bombed the positions of our air defense units. Wang Yiren, a young air defense soldier, had an idea. He shook the searchlight to aim at an enemy plane, hugged it and kept flashing the searchlight. You know, anti-aircraft searchlights are very powerful and consume energy. At the moment when the light beam is turned on, people close to the lamp mouth can feel its powerful light energy and electromagnetic impact, and the light beam can reach thousands of meters. It is conceivable how strong such a huge beam will be to people's eyes in the dark. Blinking like this again, the pilot of the American plane suddenly became temporarily blind, and the plane crashed into a nearby hill and was destroyed! This time, they caught an American F-94 night fighter with three searchlights, and then it kept flashing, and the American pilot was "blind" again. The plane flew around like a headless fly, and hit the hill again, killing people. In this way, this unit "shot down" two modern American fighters with searchlights without firing a shot. Volunteers issued a commendation order in recognition of this unit, and Wang Yiren was also called "the child prodigy who caught the Snitch"-because this year, Wang Yiren was just 16 years old!
