Liankangshan National Nature Reserve is located in Xinxian County in the hinterland of Dabie Mountain, with an area of 10580 hectares and 45 peaks over 700 meters. The main peak is windy and sharp, with an altitude of 775 meters. The main vein extends from west to east, passing through Bajiao Dojo (727m above sea level) to Qijian (72 1 m above sea level). Kanglian is located in the transition zone from subtropical zone to warm temperate zone, and is rich in animal and plant resources. According to the investigation, there are 2,435 species of plants, among which fragrant fruit, Eucommia ulmoides, ginkgo, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, gastrodia elata, wild soybean and Dysosma versicolor are rare plants in China. There are more than 400 kinds of animals here, among which leopard, white-crowned long-tailed pheasant and giant salamander are rare animals in China.

Xiangshan lake scenic spot

Xiangshan Lake National Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located at the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui in Xinxian County, 6 kilometers southeast of the county. The Beijing-Kowloon Railway crosses the county boundary, with a linear distance of 2km from the scenic spot, 20km from Wuhan160km in the south, 20km from Xinyang110km in the north and 290km from Zhengzhou. It is 80 kilometers away from the entrance of Xinyang section of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, and the Ashen Expressway exit under construction is on the scenic spot 1 km route. It is a water conservancy natural scenic spot formed by an artificial inland lake in the upper reaches of the Yellow River in the Huaihe River system.

Jinlanshan Forest Park

Jin Lan National Forest Park is located in Xinxian County, which is located in the transition zone from subtropical zone to warm temperate zone. There are abundant forest resources and many kinds of trees here. The forest area is 3072 hectares, the forest coverage rate is 93. 1%, and there are more than 2000 kinds of plants. There are 300 kinds of wild animals and 1000 kinds of insects in the park. The park consists of Kanglian, Xidashan and Jin Lan, with a total area of 33.3 square kilometers. It is famous for its mountains, beautiful waters, forests, peaks, rocks and mysterious roads.

Jiulongtan Waterfall

Jiulongtan Scenic Area is adjacent to the county seat, about 3 kilometers away from Chengguan. Jiulongtan Scenic Area has the characteristics of Kanglian Mountain, Xidashan Mountain and Jinlan Mountain, and has two major features: First, the landscape ecology is pleasing to the eye; Second, the strange stone landscape embodies the mystery of Taoism. At present, the scenic spots in Jiulongtan Scenic Area include: Yingbin, Jiulong Egg, Qinglong Lake, Jiulongtan, Wudaoshi, Songgui, Tian Shu Stone, Xianren Guide, Guancai Stone (fame stone), Bai Long Ting, Bailongtan and Bailong Pray for Heaven.
