1988 After the promulgation of the Water Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Ministry of Water Resources designated July 1-7 as "China Water Week" every year. Considering that the theme and content of World Water Day and China Water Week are basically the same, the time of "China Water Week" is changed from 1994 to March 22nd every year.
