Huo Yuanjia was born in 1869. The Huo family has lived in Xiaonanhe Village for generations. At that time, this martial arts family made a living by farming and lived a farm life like most villagers. Huo Yuanjia lived by collecting firewood as a teenager, and later worked as a footman.

190 1 year, a Russian boxer who claimed to be "the strongest man in the world" went to Tianjin to perform, claiming to be "invincible in China". Huo Yuanjia heard the news and immediately rushed to compete with him. Knowing Huo Yuanjia's fame, Russian boxers never dared to fight. Finally, he admitted in the newspaper that he despised China people's mistakes and left Tianjin in frustration.

Huo is determined to revitalize Wushu, resist aggression, recruit apprentices in his hometown and teach boxing. 1909, Huo Yuanjia came to Shanghai and gained great national prestige with the courage of "monopolizing the world's strongmen, even though they are steel, they have nothing to worry about". Since then, his reputation has spread widely.

19 10 in June, Huo Yuanjia founded "China Jason Wu Gymnastics Club" and later renamed it "Jason Wu Sports Club". This also earned Huo Yuanjia the reputation of "Jason Wu Hero". Only three months after the establishment of the Jason Wu Institution, Huo Yuanjia died unfortunately on September 19 10, and it has been circulated among the people that he was killed by the Japanese. Dr. Sun Yat-sen spoke highly of Huo Yuanjia's courage to "protect the country with military force and strengthen the cultivation". On the occasion of the 10 anniversary of the founding of Jason Wu Native Association, Sun Yat-sen personally attended the meeting, prefaced Jason Wu magazine, and personally wrote four characters of "warrior spirit".
