The traffic police have long forbidden to punish overloaded vehicles for unloading. Look at the big trucks on the road. Nine out of ten cars are more or less overloaded. Second, the treatment of flat tire
I mentioned a flat tire just now. When driving at high speed, the consequences caused by car puncture, especially front tire puncture, are far more serious than those caused by big car puncture. Although the puncture is unpredictable, we often find an interesting phenomenon in accident handling: if the left front wheel puncture causes the car to run out of control and hit the guardrail, it will often hit the right guardrail, and vice versa. The reason is that when the vehicle has a flat tire, due to the different tire diameter and friction coefficient, the vehicle's driving trajectory will be biased towards the direction of flat tire, with the left front wheel biased towards the left and the right front wheel biased towards the right. When the driver corrects the direction, the pointing performance of the vehicle with flat tire is slow. In addition, the panic caused by a flat tire often leads to over-correction, which artificially intensifies the loss of control of the vehicle, causing the left front wheel to burst into the right guardrail and even hit the left and right guardrails several times in a row. The correct way is to grasp the direction first when the vehicle has a flat tire. No matter where the front of the car is biased, you should give a fixed correction angle (related to your actual speed) and keep pushing hard. At the same time, don't brake suddenly, because the braking ability of the vehicle is unbalanced on the vertical line at this time, so that the deceleration behavior can be controlled and the original driving trajectory can be kept as much as possible to avoid emergency braking to correct it.
Third, speeding.
As we all know, the danger of speeding, whether local or high-speed, will cause irreparable consequences. If you drive a car with a speed of 100KM/h, assuming your height is 170CM, the physiological reaction time from your eyes to your brain and then reflected on the brakes is about1.7s. At this time, your vehicle has moved forward. 40 meters away How many helpless lives this will contain! In the past, the speed limit was 70KM/H (we only recorded 1 10 km), and a car actually ran 203 km/h. Looking at the photos, we all said that the driver would reimburse it sooner or later. In the current reality of China, this is a universal law: the number of large trucks driving at night is far more than that running on the road during the day. In our place, the ratio of day and night can reach 1: 5 or even higher when encountering large trucks. When patrolling at night, there is white light on the left and red light on the right, and there is no end in sight. This once puzzled us. Good vision during the day, low traffic. Why do so many trucks go out at night? That we often stay up all night for the police. Later, through chatting with the driver, I learned that during the day, I had to load and unload goods, repair cars, find someone, and the most important thing was road administration. The traffic police were on the road during the day, so driving at night was less troublesome! This has led to the high incidence of various accidents at night. As drivers and passengers of small cars, drivers have a large flow and high density at night, and "unhappy" running is the second. What's important is that most cart drivers who have been busy all day are suspected of fatigue driving, and drivers with different licenses, illegal driving, etc., will cause greater safety hazards to driving. The highway is so fast and noisy that your car horn can't be heard at all. When overtaking, it is more useful to switch the flashing lights to remind the other side. When overtaking, be careful that the big truck behind you suddenly changes lanes to overtake. If you happened to be running next to him at that time, it was really resigned. Believe me, half of the big trucks that change lanes and overtake can look at Amitabha in the rearview mirror before changing lanes, not to mention that you are a small car, which is not easy to be found and faster. Moreover, when overtaking at night, don't always use the high beam. When you are two or three hundred meters away from the rear of the overtaken car, you'd better cut to the low beam, so that the front car can better judge the distance between you and him without misjudgment. Nine, protect the scene? Keep it safe!
The highway section under the jurisdiction of our brigade is about170km. Accidents used to be three shifts at one point. Later, with the increase of personnel, in order to get out of the police quickly (sometimes arriving at the scene ten minutes early may save a life), we were divided into two accident police stations, each of which has a branch jurisdiction, but that's it. It takes two or three hours to walk around our own jurisdiction. Sometimes I often get an accident alarm: there is a simple scraping or rear-end collision between the two sides. The facts are irrefutable. There are no casualties, and the economic loss is not great. The vehicle can move, but no matter how we persuade it on the phone, the two sides just refuse to move the car to the side of the road! Be sure to go to the scene to "take pictures" before you are willing to move! Seventy or eighty kilometers! It takes forty minutes an hour at the earliest! Sometimes for the loss of 100 yuan, two cars cross the road and block the road for more than ten kilometers! When I meet such a driver, I will hit him in the heart! For my own small interests, I don't listen to the advice of the traffic police and go my own way. What if your car stops on the road and causes a second accident? What if your car gets stuck on the road, causing the back to block the road and causing an accident? To be sure, if there is another accident, the loss of people and property will be greater than your minor accident. If there are no casualties, both parties have no objection to the cause of the accident, and the vehicle is mobile, it must be moved to the emergency parking lane. After the accident
Of course, the above is just a simple small financial loss accident. If your vehicle has a big property damage accident or even a casualty accident on the expressway, you must not move the scene (except to rescue the wounded). At this time, two more important things are involved: setting warning signs and alarming. If there is a traffic accident on the expressway and the vehicle can't move, a warning sign must be set up 150 meters away from the traffic direction at the scene of the accident, and the personnel must be transferred outside the guardrail of the expressway. Remember: it must be outside150m. If a second accident happens because the warning sign you set can't reach this distance, then our accident police will definitely give you the responsibility for the second accident, at least it is secondary, or even equivalent! Unfortunately, based on my practice on the expressway in recent years, no party will "be willing" to put the warning signs in place, really! None! I still remember one midnight last summer, an old comrade in the team and I were on our way back from work, and we found a traffic accident just happened in the opposite half of the downhill lane. Four or five parties of two big trucks casually fell or lay on the road behind the accident scene, which scared us to rescue people from the guardrail quickly. Only three or five minutes later, another big truck drove past the road where people were lying just now and hit me three or four meters away. At that time, the legs were not soft. It was really fake. If we didn't meet on the road, but only appeared after receiving the call from the client, there would be no one behind the car! Of course, if your vehicle doesn't have a warning triangle or a cone bucket, you can borrow a colorful travel bag or oil bucket or even branches on the roadside, but don't move stones! Then the nature changed! Speaking of calling the police, people often call their wives and children first after an accident, followed by friends and insurance companies. By the time they thought of calling the police, the accident had happened for an hour! After an accident, three things are indispensable: setting warning signs, moving people off the road and calling the police in time.
