As Bai Juyi said, they are "friends in literature and enemies in poetry" all their lives, and their friendship is profound. Bai Juyi wrote in a poem: "You write my poems all over the temple and walls, and I write your sentences all over the screen;" When I met you, I knew where the duckweed with two leaves was in the sea. "

Bai Juyi commented on Yuan Zhen's saying that "only Yuan Jun gains, but he knows it is difficult to make friends", and said that their friendship is "one is a friend with one heart and the other is the age of incense." Ride a pommel horse and have a drink in the snow. Meet at the cross gate, without a crown. Sleep in the spring breeze and watch the autumn moon at night. Not for the same degree, not for the same officer The combination is between square inches, and there is no heart source. "Yuan Zhen's concern for Bai Juyi is even more condensed into an eternal masterpiece" Wenle Tiancai Jiangzhou Sima ".

Bai Juyi dreamed of Yuan Zhen in a dream, and wrote a poem, namely "Dream Round Nine":

In the morning, the breeze is melancholy, and Tongchuan is without water.

I don't know why I dreamed of you last night.

When writing this poem, Yuan Zhen was banished to Tongzhou, which is now Dazhou City, Sichuan Province and Bai Juyi, Jiangzhou City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. I got up in the morning and got up early in the morning, because I remembered my good friend Yuan Zhen, and they were thousands of miles apart-"Tongchuan is out of phase with water." I miss you day and night, because I miss and care, so I met you in my dream. But the poet didn't say that he missed his good friend to the point where he was haunted by dreams. Instead, I asked Yuan Zhen what you have been thinking about me, which made me dream about you last night.

After Bai Juyi's "Nine Dreams" was delivered to Yuan Zhen, Yuan Zhen also wrote a song "Reward Lotte Dream Frequency":

Thousands of mountains and rivers have broken letters, and I received a poem from you today. It's rare that you love me and ask me in your dreams.

Today, I am in a daze because of illness, but I dream of idlers instead of gentlemen.

Lotte is Bai Juyi's word, but it is Yuan Zhen's word. From the title of the poem, we can see that it is a reward poem. Yuan Zhen's "Mountains and Rivers Cut off" coincides with Baishi's "Tongchuan Ganshui Cut off", which shows that communication is extremely inconvenient. But after receiving poems from friends across Qianshan, we got to know each other and dreamed of ourselves in the middle of the night, so we "miss you and pity me." My friends are deeply moved. I miss him all day, but because I am "extremely ill", I can only dream about irrelevant people in my dreams, while my best friend is not asleep.

They all dream. Bai Juyi quoted Dream of Jun from the other side's point of view, but Yuan Zhen expressed his thoughts for his friends and his own thoughts by describing the distress of Dream of Jun. This mutual echo has its own merits.
