Peasant Uprising in Chen Sheng and Guangwu

In the autumn of the first year of Qin Ershi, the Qin Dynasty levied a poor garrison in Yuyang, and more than 900 garrisons, including Chen Sheng and others, were sent to osawa Township, Qixian County, but they could not reach their destination as scheduled due to the torrential rain. According to the law of the Qin dynasty, the garrison troops were punished or even beheaded for delaying the deadline.

Bobby Chen and Guangwu are the captains of this garrison, and they realize that they can't reach their destination on time anyway.

What shall we do? Chen Sheng and Guangwu have long been dissatisfied with the tyranny of the Qin Dynasty. They discussed that it is better to lead the hundreds of people to revolt and die with a bang.

The question is how to make these people willing to fight with themselves? They used people's belief in ghosts and gods to carefully plan two things:

First of all, I took a piece of white silk, wrote the word "Chen" on it with vermilion, and secretly stuffed it into the stomach of a fish bought by a soldier for slaughter. The soldier cut open the fish and found the words on this silk. He was very surprised.

The incident that "Chen Wang" was shocked by the fish belly immediately spread in the military camp. However, people who have not seen it with their own eyes will still be skeptical.

Second, in order to completely reassure the soldiers, Guangwu sneaked into a ruined temple near the ground in the middle of the night, lit a bonfire, pretended that the fox said something first, and then shouted, "Da Chu Xing, Chen." This time, everybody listen carefully.

Foxes have always been considered as "fox spirits", and "fox spirits" can't be wrong.

These two incidents made all the soldiers regard Chen Shengjing as a god, and elected Chen Sheng as the general and Guangwu as the captain. Chen Sheng then led the people to cut the wood into soldiers, unveiled the pole as a flag, and the slogan was "Great Chu Xing, Chen".
