Bijie Guizhou No.1 Middle School is located in the center of Qixingguan District, Bijie City. It is the only provincial-level second-class demonstration high school in Bijie City and a key middle school in Guizhou Province. The school was established in 1932 and 1950. Bijie Commissioner's Office merged and reorganized several original middle schools in Bijie City into Bijie Middle School in Guizhou Province. 1963 was renamed Bijie No.1 Middle School in Guizhou Province. In the same year, Bijie No.1 Middle School was identified as one of the key middle schools in the province 10 by the provincial education department. 1979, once again recognized by the provincial education department as one of the key middle schools in Guizhou province 15; In 2002, it was rated as a model high school in Guizhou Province.
