The Origin of Koguryo Language
According to China's records, it comes down in one continuous line with Fuyu, Yuju, Dongling and Baekje (the ruling class), forming Fuyu language family from the northeast to the Korean peninsula. This language family is considered to be very different from that of Sushen (in present-day northeast China). Because the residents in the south of the Korean peninsula migrated from the mainland before the people in the north, Koguryo and Sanhan languages also have great differences in terms of words, such as basic vocabulary and numerals, which can be concluded that they are two independent languages.
