Someone once wrote an article accusing it of being "depraved and frivolous" and losing its elegance. After seeing each other, the Zhou brothers wrote their own articles and said many good things for Huifeng. Lu Xun's article is called Critics Against Tears, while Zhou Zuoren has written many articles, especially love poems, which are quite powerful. My impression of these poems, like the light of cosmic love scattered in space, was more or less in a butterfly net, radiating tiny lightning. Therefore, after seeing the' affectionate duet' in the Wind of Hui, we should think of the call for the liberation of the poetry circle and expect him to make progress. " Therefore, the loudest slogan during the May 4th Movement was to oppose feudal ethics and strive for individual liberation. As a part of personality liberation, freedom of love and marital autonomy are not only welcomed by young people, but also attracted the attention of writers. In feudal society, "keeping righteousness and destroying human desires" is like a tangible and intangible chain, which tightly binds people's body and mind; Falling in love and singing songs about love are also considered guilty and shameful. Traditional poetics emphasizes "thinking without evil", that is, it requires poets to write poems without evil thoughts, that is, it does not violate feudal ethical norms. The emphasis on love and beauty during the May 4th Movement was directed at feudal ethics. As for the significance of Zhou Zuoren's love poems about "lakeside society", Mr. Longquan Ming once pointed out: "On the one hand, we should fully see its position and artistic originality in the development of China's love poems, on the other hand, we should see its thoughts and feelings of pursuing love freedom and personality liberation, which objectively has anti-feudal historical significance.
