Cisco needs a slogan that can be widely accepted, but at the same time, the new slogan still needs to retain the idea of "customer first" expressed in the original slogan. In addition, the company can't use different slogans everywhere, and such nondescript things as "customers are God" and "customers are Buddha" can't let Cisco appear in front of the world in a unified image.
