The school-running concept of "Strong quality, diligent study and abiding by the school" and the slogan of "Strong, confident, persistent and upright" have established the development goal of striving for "Four Gardens". In September 2000, Baisong Primary School took the lead in setting up a "research room" in Xiamen's primary schools, carrying out the "famous teacher project" and "blue action" to build a stage for classroom growth. In June, 20001year, the school established the first juvenile post office in Fujian province. In June 2005, the school was awarded the "National Youth Philatelic Demonstration Base". Among many societies, the choir is most proud of its achievements. The choir is called "Deep Sea Blue". Teacher Xu Xin led the Deep Sea Blue Choir to participate in the 6th World Chorus Games on July 20 10, and won the silver medal in the pop group.

The Deep Sea Blue Choir once held concerts in Gulangyu Concert Hall and Hongtai Concert Hall, and all the money raised was donated to poor mountainous areas. This move won everyone's praise and moved.
