This is the first time that the National Games, Paralympic Games and Special Olympics will be held in the same year.
Specific situation
According to the work arrangement, the inaugural meeting of the Organizing Committee of the "National Games" will be held on September 15, 2020, to complete the establishment of the Organizing Committee. By then, the one-year countdown to the 14th National Games will start at the same time.
It is reported that the outline of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 14th National Games has been basically determined. Songs, slogans, torches and medals of the 14th National Games and Paralympic Games are being submitted for approval according to procedures, and the torch collection and torch relay plan has been submitted to the State Sports General Administration for approval.
The Organizing Committee of the 14th National Games and Paralympic Games will officially start the recruitment of volunteers in the middle and late September. Volunteer recruitment consists of three parts: volunteer recruitment for college students' team games, city volunteers and social volunteers. The recruitment of volunteers was completed in 20021June.
