Optometry is a medical specialty centered on the visual system, which mainly involves the physiology, pathology, diagnosis and treatment of eyes and visual system. Employment orientation: Those who can apply for the National Physician Qualification Examination can obtain the qualification of a clinician, become doctor of optometry (OMD), engage in clinical diagnosis and treatment of optometry in ophthalmology and optometry clinics of general hospitals and specialized hospitals at all levels, or engage in teaching and scientific research in optometry-related research departments, glasses enterprises and various colleges, or continue to study for a master's degree.
