Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. According to Aauto Quicker Encyclopedia, Zhaojue County belongs to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, which is located in the southwest of Sichuan Province and the hinterland of Daliangshan. The Yi language translates as "the dam where Shan Ying lives". It is the old state capital of Liangshan, with 2/kloc-0 ethnic groups including Yi, Han and Hui, among which Yi accounts for 98.8%.
