★ Foreigners can stay, live or travel in North Korea according to the purpose of entry, but they should go through relevant registration procedures according to regulations.
★ Foreigners should register for residence within 48 hours after arriving at their destination. The entry-exit authorities of the DPRK should mark it on the passport or in a separate visa column.
★ Foreigners who have lived for a long time (more than 6 months) shall go through the relevant formalities and apply for a foreigner's residence permit within 7 days from the date of residence registration.
★ Foreigners who have lived in other areas for a long time should go through the formalities of emigration within 7 days from the date of obtaining the consent, and go through the registration formalities at the entry-exit administration agency of the place where they moved in.
★ Aliens shall submit application documents for extension to the entry-exit administration authorities 10 days before the expiration of residence permit and alien certificate.
★ Foreigners' birth, death, marriage, divorce and career change shall be registered within 14 days from the date of change. And submit relevant documents to the entry-exit administration.
