Wuxi Taihu College, located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is a private full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a key undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province and Wuxi City, and was selected as a cooperative college of the Ministry of Education-ZTE ICT Production-Education Integration Innovation Base and a pilot college of applied technology education in China and the United States.
China Industry-University-Research Cooperative Innovation Demonstration Base, National Application-oriented University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration School and Jiangsu Ping 'an Campus Demonstration University are the governing units, vice-chairman units and vice-chairman units of the National Alliance of Newly-built Undergraduate Universities. [1] The school was formerly known as Taihu College of Jiangnan University and was established in 2002.

2. Historical evolution
In 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Jiangnan University, Wuxi Fu Wei Group and Jiangsu Taihu Boiler Group jointly established Taihu College of Jiangnan University, which is positioned as a full-time, comprehensive and multidisciplinary undergraduate college and the first in Jiangsu Province [3].

3. Teachers.
As of 20021,1,according to the undergraduate teaching quality report of Wuxi Taihu University in the academic year of 2020-202 1, there are 738 full-time teachers, 655 external teachers and 3 foreign teachers, equivalent to teachers 1065. In April 2023, the school official website showed that more than 95% of the full-time teachers in the school had doctoral and master's degrees.
Among them, there are 300 outstanding talents, including experts with special government allowance from the State Council, national famous teachers, outstanding young and middle-aged experts from Jiangsu Province, outstanding teachers from Jiangsu Province, training targets of "333 Project" and "Blue Project" in Jiangsu Province, specially invited part-time professors from famous foreign universities, and domestic industrial professors.
