How to be a good branch director?
As the saying goes, Yang said, "Although the sparrow is small, it has everything." The post sub-office is not only the front end of the postal network, but also the end of the postal network, and is the forefront of postal management, service and business development. Therefore, it is particularly important to do a good job in the branch office. I started as the director of the sub-bureau from the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and worked in four sub-bureaus successively. /kloc-in the past 0/0 years, the sub-bureau where I worked has been rated as an advanced sub-bureau for many times, and I personally have been rated as an advanced individual and an excellent sub-bureau director of the city and county bureaus for many times. If you want to ask me how to be a branch director, I can sum up three main points. First, strike while the iron is hot, and the director must support himself. Although he is a soldier, he is an indispensable post in postal enterprises. Doing a good job in supporting the director plays a decisive role in expanding postal services. To do a good job in the national postal service, it is necessary to train and bring up thousands of outstanding directors. In my opinion, to be a good bureau chief, we must first love postal work, have the courage to shoulder heavy responsibilities, have good professional ethics and sense of responsibility, study hard in business and strive to improve our professional level and comprehensive quality. I am 1997, and I feel very honored as a member of the postal team. Because of my excellent work, after only one year's work, the county bureau arranged for me to be the director of Hekou Township Branch of this county. The need of work and the trust of leaders make me bravely shoulder this burden and enter the role in a short time. After I became the director of the sub-bureau, I used the business backbone training organized by the municipal bureau and the county bureau to seriously study the relevant policies and management experience in postal services. Usually, I use meetings, visits and other opportunities to learn from the management experience of my brother branch and make up for my own management deficiencies. At the same time, I squeeze out holidays, read postal newspapers and watch distance education courses broadcast by the media, and strive to improve the policy level and comprehensive management level. Sharpen a sword every ten years. 1998 to 2008, during my ten years as branch director, I joined the party organization in 2005 and became an expert in business. Annual branch business indicators and business income growth 10%~ 15%. Because of his outstanding work performance, he was promoted to the director of the marketing center of financial agency business of the county bureau in 2008, and now he is the director of the Insurance Regulatory Bureau of the county bureau. Second, pay attention to employee management In the branch work, employee management is one of the key points of the branch director's work, which includes system management, performance management and harmonious team building. System management is an important part of employee management, and the branch supervisor must stop the violators as soon as possible and deal with them in an appropriate way. Performance management must first set goals, and the sub-bureau will reward and punish employees at the end of the quarter according to their performance. Team building management is to carry forward the spirit of unity and cooperation, promote and care for each other among employees, and exert collective strength to realize * * *. Sub-bureaus should attach importance to team building and give full play to team advantages. Staff management, first of all, to enhance affinity, my personal experience is that as a branch supervisor, first of all, we should set an example, take the lead in setting an example, require employees to do what they want to do first, and establish prestige with excellent technology and superhuman work efficiency. Second, actively communicate with employees, care for employees, stimulate their potential, shorten their psychological distance, and urge them to work boldly. Third, we must be honest and trustworthy, fair and upright, consistent with words and deeds, fair and reasonable, and clear rewards and punishments. According to the actual situation, I tried to manage employees with encouragement methods such as praise, participation, competition, emotion, demonstration, goal and training, and achieved twice the result with half the effort. Third, focus on business development. I think a good bureau chief must focus on the growth of postal service. The post sub-office is understaffed, with poor conditions, miscellaneous business and heavy tasks, and there are always some businesses that are difficult to carry out. In this complicated work, the sub-bureau should focus on the construction of marketing system, promote the construction of delivery network and the standardization of business outlets, and promote the standardization of business services; Strengthen business product research and development, strengthen business process reengineering, strengthen business brand promotion, and achieve sound and rapid development of postal services. In marketing, the bureau chief should take the initiative to attack, on the one hand, he should use his brains to analyze the local postal market and business structure and try his best to seek new development opportunities; On the other hand, we should give full play to the enthusiasm and initiative of other employees in the branch. Provide personalized service for key postal users, pay a targeted return visit and listen to their opinions and suggestions. The director of a branch company should also be good at organizing and developing the marketing of various businesses in order to increase business income.
