Every university in Denmark has an English version on its website. You can click on the British flag or the word "English" to enter. In the English version, you will soon find the contact email address of its international student department or admissions office, as well as the English-taught projects. Contact by email, introduce yourself briefly and ask for an application form. Many schools' application forms can be downloaded and used directly on their websites.

Fill in the application form and mail it to the school together with relevant certificates and copies (unless the original is needed). Schools that meet the requirements will generally send admission notices directly.

Second, apply for a Danish passport

The procedure for applying for a passport for studying abroad is the same in all countries.

Third, apply for a study visa.

Apply for a study visa with the letter of admission, valid for 1 year.

To apply for a study visa in Denmark, you need to prepare:

1) notarize the highest diploma and relevant materials required by the school at or above the municipal level with the household registration book and ID card.

2) Take a notarial certificate to the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office (Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) for certification. Just stick a small note stamped by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and signed by the third secretary at the back of your notarial certificate to prove that your notarial certificate is true.

3) Proof of living funds issued by the bank (limited to the three major domestic banks). If the funds prove to be the names of parents, notarized materials on the relationship between parents and children are also needed.

Danish study visa application process:

1) Find the embassy or consulate.

2) Fill in the visa application form and questionnaire (both in English). We need two 2-inch photos here.

3) Submission materials: notarial certificate with the highest academic degree and its English copy, admission notice, copy of the first page of passport (the page with photos), and other necessary materials. Give the above materials, passports, application forms and questionnaires to the embassy staff. Whether the embassy requests to collect your original materials or not, all originals will be returned.

4) Have a brief interview or oral English conversation with embassy staff, the content is very simple.

5) Pay the visa fee and get the receipt.

6) One to five weeks later, I received a phone call from the embassy and went to the embassy to apply for a visa with my ID card and receipt. Someone can collect it here, and you need the applicant's ID card, receipt and the consignee's ID card.

Four. From departure to arrival

Denmark is a small country, most of which enter Copenhagen. Jylland can also choose to enter Germany.

There is a train station on the first floor of Copenhagen airport, where you can buy tickets to various places. Students under the age of 26 can apply for a "wild card" of Danish National Railway (DSB) here with their passports, and they can enjoy preferential fares for young people with this card. You can get a replacement card then, and the official card will be sent to the address in a week or two.

The school will solve all the problems for you. Some schools have temporary accommodation and find their own houses when necessary.

Six, give it to Huang Ka (because the card is yellow).

Danish students should go to their commune (Kommune) to register their population and get the slogan "Personnummer". In a week or two, they will take over Huang Ka and enjoy free Danish medical care and library resources. Huang Ka has your slogan, date of birth, address and the name of the attending doctor.

Seven, work permit and tax card

Students in Denmark can apply for a work permit as long as they fill out the application form at the Public Security Bureau. It is also very simple to apply for a tax card, but if you want to apply for a high tax card, you need proof from your work unit.

Eight. Handling bank accounts (taking Danske Bank as an example)

Opening an account is very simple. As long as you show Huang Ka, the staff will fill out the application form for you, and finally you can sign it. A week later, you will receive a bank card and password, and activate your account in the bank according to the instructions in the letter. Method 1: Call the number in the letter; Method 2: Go to the bank in person.

The bank also has a spending card, which requires Huang Ka, bank account number and photos. Danish consumer cards include Dankort and VISA (informal credit card). The former can be used in Denmark, and the latter can be used all over the world, but neither can be overdrawn. VISA needs a monthly income certificate (clip), and the procedure is the same as that of a bank card.

Nine. update

Replacement should be handled at the local public security bureau or immigration bureau. The renewal of the second school year in the same school is very simple, and you can even sign it on the spot. Because I don't want to go home during the holiday, it takes more than a month to change my school visa or tourist visa. In addition, there are reasonable reasons to apply for a one-month visa extension.

Generally speaking, a visa for studying in Denmark requires a confirmation letter from the school and proof of economic strength of 4,000 Danish kroner (bank account) per month.
