Long March 1 nuclear submarine

"Long March 1" nuclear submarine 1970 12.26, the first nuclear-powered attack submarine developed by China people was launched. 1 974 August1day, the Central Military Commission issued an order to name this nuclear submarine "Long March 1" (ship number 40 1).

The overall design of "Long March 1" began with 1966, and it was designed and built at the same time, which lasted for 5 years. 1May, 968, the first boat was laid in the shipyard, and the physical construction began in 1968+065438+1October. The first stage is to build the hull in sections, and the whole hull is divided into 1 1 sections, and the overall water test was completed in April, 1970.

The second stage is equipment installation, from mainframe, cables, instruments to nuclear reactor components, parallel and cross-working. The third stage is the dock mooring test. 197/kloc-0 completed underwater outfitting in March, and then carried out reactor loading. 197 1 June, the reactor reached a critical state. 197 1 on August 23rd, 2008, the first sea voyage test of nuclear submarine was carried out, including surface voyage, periscope deep dive and deep dive test. Everything goes well and the submarine has good navigation performance.

1974 1 month, the nuclear submarine joined the naval inspection and trial, and served in August 1974. The successful development of China's first nuclear submarine marks the development of China's warship equipment technology to a new stage, and shows the determination of China people to catch up with the advanced world level.

China's navy has owned nuclear submarines since then, and China has since become the fifth country in the world to own nuclear submarines. The "Long March 1" nuclear submarine has been in service for many years, and its equipment has long been inferior to that of its latecomers. However, its contribution to China's coastal defense will go down in history forever.
