Together with Hong Shen, he formed 10 Anti-Japanese Drama Team, 4 Anti-Japanese Propaganda Teams and 1 Children's Drama Troupe, and founded the drama Spring and Autumn with Ou Yangyuqian in Chongqing 1940. Later, he went to Guilin to lead the establishment of the New China Drama Club and Peking Opera. 1in the spring of 944, Ou Yangyuqian and others hosted the first drama exhibition in southwest China in Guilin, which promoted the unity of the drama team and persisted in the progressive drama movement. After 1949, Tian Han served as the director of the Opera Improvement Bureau and the Art Bureau of the Ministry of Culture. Tian Han has been engaged in literature and art all his life, creating more than 60 plays and operas, more than 20 movie scripts, 24 opera scripts, nearly 2,000 lyrics and new and old poems.
