Lin Lan, one of the top ten doctors in Beijing to treat diabetes.
Lin Lan, female, 1938 was born in Zhejiang province on August 20th, and 1963 graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (six-year program). At present, he is the chief researcher of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the director of key endocrinology specialty of Guang 'anmen Hospital, the chief physician, and the doctoral supervisor, enjoying special government allowance. Clinically, he is good at treating diabetes and its complications, thyroid diseases and difficult diseases in internal medicine.
At the same time, Lin Lan is also an academic leader of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, a national key specialty of endocrinology of traditional Chinese medicine and a national key discipline of endocrinology of traditional Chinese medicine in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, a consulting expert of the Central Health Care Commission, and a drug evaluation expert of the State Pharmaceutical Products Supervision and Administration. He used to be the chairman of the Diabetes Endocrinology Committee of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the director of the Chinese Medical Association.
Lin Lan's main research direction is diabetes and its complications and thyroid diseases. He is good at treating diabetes and endocrine diseases with cardiovascular diseases such as heart, brain, kidney and limbs, hyperthyroidism and thyroid diseases with combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine. The "syndrome differentiation of diabetes mellitus" he founded was first included in the guiding principle of clinical research of new drugs for diabetes mellitus (diabetes mellitus), and it is still in use today.
On the basis of observing more than 2,000 patients, Lin Lan classified diabetes into three types: yin deficiency with excessive heat, deficiency of both qi and yin, and deficiency of both yin and yang, corresponding to the pre-,middle and late stages of diabetes in western medicine, which was recognized by western medicine. Lin Lan believes that the treatment of different syndrome types has its own emphasis, with the hyperactivity of yin deficiency and heat mainly dredging collaterals, the deficiency of both qi and yin mainly nourishing yin, and the deficiency of both yin and yang mainly tonifying kidney and consolidating the foundation.
According to the principle of benefiting qi and nourishing yin and the hypoglycemic mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine, Lin Lan has successively developed new drugs such as Jiangtangjia tablet, Jiangtangtongmaining capsule (Qizhi Jiangtang tablet), Tangweikang capsule (Kelexin capsule), Tangxinping capsule and Jiakangning capsule, and made great progress in the field of treating diabetes with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.
Lin Lan has successively served as the national key project in the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the national natural science foundation project and the state administration of traditional chinese medicine project, and presided over the scientific research projects such as "Clinical and experimental study of Jiangtangjia tablet in treating adult diabetes", "Clinical and experimental study of Jiangtangtongmaining in treating diabetic vascular complications" and "Study of Jiakangning in treating hyperthyroidism".
Lin Lan's "Syndrome Differentiation of Diabetes Type Ⅲ" was first incorporated into "Guiding Principles for Clinical Research of New Drugs for Diabetes (Diabetes)" by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health, and it has been used ever since. At the same time, she advocated "supplementing qi and nourishing yin as the basic method to prevent and treat diabetes" for the first time in China, and developed the first hypoglycemic preparation of traditional Chinese medicine in China.
Lin Lan is also the first person in China to study the compound prescription of traditional Chinese medicine and explore the hypoglycemic mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine from the perspective of cell morphology and molecular biology. It is put forward that "invigorating qi and nourishing yin, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the great methods to prevent and treat diabetic vascular diseases", and a series of studies have been carried out on diabetes and its complications, and a variety of traditional Chinese medicine preparations have been invented, and four new drug certificates have been obtained, with the national patent 1 item.
