Check the Internet Information Service option and make sure that it will take some time for the computer to start the service. At this point, open the FTP server, IIS management console in the Web management tool and all services under the World Wide Web service (this service may need to restart the computer to take effect).
Right-click Computer, and then click Manage.
Click "services and applications"->; Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, right-click the website, and then click Add FTP site.
Add the site name and select the physical path of the Ftp site root directory.
The IP address is local IP, and the port can be set by itself (it is best not to use the default port 21for safety); SSL Select Allow, and then select Next.
Select "Basic" for authentication, "All Users" for authorization (that is, all existing valid accounts of this machine can log in), set "Read" for permission setting (that is, files can only be downloaded from ftp, but not uploaded, so you need to select "Write" to set upload permission), and click "Finish".
In the management console, you can see the newly generated Ftp site under the website. Click on the website to see the relevant information of the website. You may need to restart your computer if you want to log in to ftp.
Open Windows Explorer or browser, and enter "ftp://IP:Port" to pop up the login dialog box.
Enter a valid user account and password to log in. There is a test. Txt text file under Ftp root directory: E:\Ftp\Download. As you can see, the file is displayed after successfully logging in to Ftp. You can download files by copying and pasting them to your local computer.
Add user groups and users who specialize in FTP operations.
In the Administration Console, click Users, right-click a blank area, and then click New User to create a new user.
Enter the user name and password, cancel "The user must change the password the next time he logs in", select "The user cannot change the password" and "The password never expires", and click Create to create a new user named Download.
By default, all newly created users belong to the user group, and they can log on to the computer with this user and password. Therefore, in order to prevent the user from having the same right to log on to the computer as other ordinary users, the download member is deleted from the user group.
Then right-click the blank area on the right, click "New Group", enter the group name and description information, and then click "Add" to add members.
Enter the user selection dialog box, click Advanced, select Find Now in the new pop-up dialog box, find the download from the search results, click OK, and then confirm.
Then the download appears in the member bar, click "Create" to successfully create the user group, and add the downloaded users to the user group "Ftp Users".
Only certain users are allowed to access FTP.
Click the Ftp site under the website, and then double-click Authorization Rules. At this point, FTP allows all users to log in.
Double-click "All Users", select "Specify Role or User Group", and enter member download and confirm. At present, only downloads can log in to FTP.
Restart FTP, you may need to restart your computer for the configuration to take effect. Now only the user name can be downloaded to log in to FTP, and this user name cannot log in to your computer or do other operations. You can view the connection test results through the test settings.
