Nanhe ancient market town is an influential market town in southern Hunan of Guhanchuan. Ancient South Hexi crossed Yunmengze waters. Before the Hanshui River was returned to people, pedestrians and ships in the southern part of Hanchuan had to sail here in the direction of Xiantao and Qianjiang, so people came and went, merchants gathered and the market was prosperous. Guishan, west of the ancient crossing of Nanhe River, is naturally peculiar. Its head dives out of the water, and its tail is connected with Gudu Town in Nanhe. There are pavilions and pavilions on the mountain (turtle back), and there are many people, which makes the surrounding mountains look beautiful and pleasant. Therefore, the ancient crossing near the South River is like a fairyland, especially at the night when the stars and the moon are in the sky, and tourists linger. Therefore, the public Shen Zhuping said in "Zhi Zhu Ci":
The water keeps circling the south river, so you have to stay every time you visit.
Empty, the moon is in the sky, and I often come to the ancient ferry at night.
Although the ancient crossing of Nanhe River has been silted up, the remains of Nanhedu Town still exist, with Qingshi Street.
Five articles bear witness to the prosperity of Nanhe's old capital.
Nanhe Meicheng, according to the Qing Dynasty's Hanchuan County Records, said: "Tang Wude set up a city at the foot of Hanshan Mountain for four years, and Meicheng was born today. It can be seen that Meicheng is located in Hanshan, Nanhe Township, and now it is near Xiaoludu at the foot of Luo Li Mountain.
Meicheng is named after the unique plum blossom. In ancient times, there were plum blossoms all over the city, and there were ten scents in four seasons, which did not fade or wither, and the sunset shone again, attracting many tourists. In ancient times, Shen Zhuping, a native of Hanchuan, wrote poems and cried:
Who planted plum blossoms all over the city and has never withered;
Visitors forget to go home late, and when they see the mountain, they return to the lantern monster.
When Tan Chuan of Tianmen sent people back to Meicheng, he wrote a poem praising: Looking for Hualing to send remnant East, jathyapple crowing chickens to send Jason Chung;
My heart is burning taro, and Beishan is lying in bed.
Drunkenness does not feel cold, and Qingchuan is lonely and the north wind is sour;
Pine quietly covers the world, and low-paid plum blossoms are unique.
