The General Command of Shenzhou VII Manned Space Mission has decided that the Shenzhou VII spacecraft will be launched from 2 1: 07 to 22: 27 on September 25th for manned space flight. Wang Zhaoyao said that the main purpose of this mission is to carry out the first extravehicular activity of China astronauts, and to break through and master the related technologies of extravehicular activity.
At the same time, space science and technology experiments such as satellite accompanying flight and satellite data relay are also carried out. Three astronauts formed a team to carry out the task.
According to the plan, during the operation of the spacecraft, two astronauts respectively entered the orbital module wearing the "Tian Fei" extravehicular spacesuit developed by China and the "Yinghai" extravehicular spacesuit imported from Russia to prepare for extravehicular activities.
Among them, 1 astronaut went out to carry out extravehicular activities and recovered the test sample device loaded outside the cabin. After the extravehicular activity is completed, the spacecraft will release an accompanying satellite.
In addition, the "Tianlian 1" satellite data relay test will be conducted. After completing the scheduled mission, Shenqi will return to the main landing site in central Inner Mongolia.
