The 2022 Hangzhou 19 Asian Games, referred to as "Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games", was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China from September 10 to 25, 2022. The 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou will be oriented as "China New Era Hangzhou New Asian Games", with the goal of "China's characteristics, Zhejiang's elegant demeanor, Hangzhou's charm and splendor", and adhere to the concept of "green, intelligent, thrifty and civilized" and the principle of "Hangzhou is the mainstay and the whole province enjoys it".
The mascot of Hangzhou Asian Games is a group of robots named "Jiang Nanyi". The three mascots were named Congcong, Lianlian and Chen Chen respectively. "Congcong" represents the world heritage Liangzhu ancient city with the shape of a robot, and its name comes from Yu Cong, a representative cultural relic unearthed from the site of Liangzhu ancient city.
"Lotus" represents the world heritage West Lake in the shape of a robot, and its name comes from the infinite blue lotus leaves in the West Lake. "Chen Chen" represents the World Heritage Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the shape of a robot, and its name comes from the landmark Chen Gong Bridge in Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
