Wen Tianxiang (1June 6, 236-12831October 9), a native of Luling, Jizhou (now Qingyuan District, Jiangxi Province), was a national hero of the Southern Song Dynasty, formerly known as Sun Yun, with auspicious characters. After Gong was selected, she changed her name to Tianxiang, and her handwriting improved. Baoyu changed his name to Song Rui after winning the first prize in four years (1256). Later, because he lived in Wenshan, he was named Wenshan, and there was a floating Taoist. Wen Tianxiang was handed down to future generations in the name of a loyal and righteous hero. During his capture, Yuan Shizu surrendered with a high official and generous salary. Wen Tianxiang would rather die than surrender, and go to justice calmly. His life story is praised by later generations, and he is also called "the three outstanding men in the late Song Dynasty" with Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie.

During the Southern Song Dynasty, Marshal Zhang Hongfan of Mengyuan led amphibious troops south to Guangdong to wipe out the government in exile. Wen Tianxiang was escorted by their warships to Lingdingyang (now Guangdong Province) outside the Pearl River Estuary. Zhang Hongfan sent someone to ask Wen Tianxiang to write a letter to Zhang Shijie. Of course, Wen Tianxiang refused to write to You, but wrote a seven-character poem to express his mind. This poem is "Crossing the Ocean", in which "Who hasn't died since ancient times? Take care of your heart and shine your history! Noble character has become a model for the Han people for thousands of years. After a difficult time in Ding Yang, there are few stars here. The mountains and rivers are broken and the wind is floating, and life experiences are ups and downs. The beach of fear says fear, and there is a sigh in the ocean. Who hasn't died since ancient times? Take care of your heart and shine your history!

Poetry appreciation

This is an immortal poem. At the beginning of the poem, review your life. It is intended to imply that no matter what difficulties and hardships, you are tempered and fearless. Then I described my combat career: I spent four years in a desolate cold war environment. Linking personal destiny with the rise and fall of the country. Three or four sentences continue to express the development of the situation and the deep sadness and anger from both the country and the individual. Being wronged will be destroyed, as long as this patriotic loyalty can shine in the history of the Han family. This famous saying, which has been told through the ages, is a hymn of an ideal life written by the poet with his own blood and life. The whole poem is gloomy and tragic in style, and it is a great nationalist poem that touches the world and makes the gods cry.

Yashan decisive battle

Under the fierce offensive of the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, the government in exile in the Southern Song Dynasty hurried to Xiushan (now Hutou Mountain in Humen, Dongguan, Guangdong). Eleven-year-old Duanzong died in Zhangzhou (now Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province) because of shock and illness. Zhang Shijie and Lu Xiufu took the place of eight-year-old Wang Wei and moved the line to Haizhong Mountain, south of Xinhui County (map of Guangdong Province). In the second year of Xiangxing (Gregorian calendar 1279), on the sixth day of February, Song Jun died in battle and launched a thrilling naval battle with the Mongolian fleet at sea. Finally, Song Jun was defeated under the leadership of Zhang Shijie, and Lu Xiufu was carrying a young emperor.

Escort Dadu

After the war in Yashan, Wen Tianxiang was captured and taken to Guangzhou. Zhang Hongfan said to him, "With the demise of the Southern Song Dynasty, loyalty and filial piety have been exhausted. Even if you die, who will write this into the national history? " Premier Wen's wish to become a big yuan will certainly be reused. "Wen Tianxiang replied:" National subjugation cannot be saved. As a courtier, you deserve to die. Why do you have a second thought? In order to make him surrender, Dayuan decided to escort him to Dadu.

Three years in prison

Wen Tianxiang arrived in Dadu in October of the 16th year of Zhiyuan (1279) and was killed in December of the 19th year of Zhiyuan (1282). Yi was sentenced to three years and two months in prison. During this period, Yuan tried his best to surrender and coerced Wen Tianxiang. The number of people involved in surrender, the poison of coercion and inducement, the generous conditions of promise and the long waiting time exceeded others. Even Kublai Khan surrendered himself and failed to convince him. Therefore, Wen Tianxiang's severe test and firm will are rare, and Wen Tianxiang's indomitable spirit can be reflected from Song Zhengqi's earth-shattering cry.
