Organizing for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is a major event in China.

With regard to the preparations for the Winter Olympics, China Unicom has conscientiously implemented the spirit of the important instructions of the CPC Central Committee on the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympics, and has always taken the preparations for the Winter Olympics as the top priority, firmly weaving the "one net" of the two places and three divisions of the Winter Olympics, and further integrating the 5G technology into the Winter Olympics.

The Party Group of China Unicom Group organized many meetings to give in-depth guidance to the reinsurance work of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and explicitly demanded to shoulder the major political responsibility of "two maintenance" and take a good post in the reinsurance front of the Winter Olympics with a "strict but practical" work style to escort the motherland.

The communication support task of the opening ceremony involves eight special projects, including fixed communication, mobile communication, fireworks display, emergency communication, public network intercom, security shed, OBS and 5G innovation, as well as the daily office communication service support of the headquarters.

The whole group of China Unicom strives to ensure that the contact optical cables of all nodes adopt double routing and double replication. Guarantee 47 1 dedicated line, 65438 fixed telephone and wireless fixed telephone +0 15, 2,465,438 POC terminals, 495 WiFi points, 85 base stations, 895 office points, 65438 OTN outlets +0692 OIN outlets. More than 45 kilometers of temporary optical cables and more than 800 roads/kloc-0 have been laid, and key protection has been given to pipeline equipment such as long-distance backbone optical cables, CCTV image and video transmission optical cables, and optical cables carrying major customers of the Winter Olympics. A total of 900 optical cables were inspected, totaling more than 6,000 kilometers.

In addition, all units of China Unicom have implemented the leadership shift duty system before the Spring Festival. During the opening ceremony, the main leaders of provincial branches arrived at their posts in advance and were on duty at their respective sites to ensure timely and efficient command and dispatch.

At the same time, the network duty has been strengthened. At the opening ceremony, China Unicom dispatched 3 1200 security personnel and 8,883 vehicles to ensure smooth communication during the event.
