The origin of the slogan "Long live Chairman Mao";

On the afternoon of July 20th, 1939, the opening ceremony was held in the Central Auditorium of Yan 'an, attended by all the leaders of Yan 'an the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. On July 25th, New China, the central organ newspaper of China, published a report written by reporter Ye Lan. The opening ceremony of the Women's University of China was held ceremoniously and warmly in the celebration of ten thousand people, recording the scene that the masses shouted "Long live Comrade Mao Zedong".
