Decentralized training, also known as decentralized military training, is a kind of military training for freshmen of Beijing Jiaotong University from 10 to 12. Before 20 14, it will be held every Monday to Friday morning, with playground training on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and internal inspection on Tuesday and Thursday. From the level of 20 1 1 to 7:00- 10:00 every Saturday morning. In addition, freshmen also need to receive training in the primary semester (that is, centralized military training).

However, the level of 20 17 began to reform, from the original Huairou military training to on-campus training, and decentralized training was cancelled.

Every year from 10 to 12, freshmen wear military uniforms at the specified time and gather in the playground of the east campus or other designated places for small-scale military training, including running laps, standing at attention, being at ease, marching in an emergency, squatting down, standing cross-legged, aligning to the right, saluting, turning around, changing clothes, singing and shouting slogans.

The regular training time is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. From grade 20 1 1, freshmen will meet in the playground at 7: 20 every Saturday morning for six weeks, and the training time will be about two and a half hours. During the training, the activities also include checking the internal affairs of the dormitory according to the requirements of the army (usually every Tuesday and Thursday) and evaluating the training results of hospitals and schools.
