I was transferred from the Intermediate People's Court of xx City to the People's Court of xx District as the vice president in 20XX. When I arrived, I quickly adapted to the role change. In the past two years, under the cordial care of Party organizations at all levels, with the sincere help of a group of party member in the hospital and the strong support of the police in the hospital, I have always firmly adhered to the socialist concept of rule of law, firmly established the purpose of fair justice and justice for the people, and earnestly fulfilled the division of responsibilities of party member in the hospital. With the joint efforts of all the police in four criminal courts and trial supervision courts, I have made great progress. At the same time, I also actively completed other matters assigned by the party group and entrusted by the team members. First, study hard and constantly improve your overall quality.

Knowledge is power, and learning is the ladder of progress. Only by constantly strengthening self-study and constantly improving ourselves can we adapt to the development needs of the times. On the one hand, I actively participated in the study of political theory, studied the party's line, principles and policies in the new period, strengthened the party's belief in the leadership of political and legal work, and maintained a high degree of consistency with the CPC Central Committee. Especially during the theoretical training of on-the-job cadres in the Party School of the District Party Committee, I was able to listen carefully, understand the lecture content and take notes, which made me learn a lot. I never missed a class, and I never missed a class or left early. The study in the Party School has improved my political theory level and my ability to control the leadership work. On the other hand, it is necessary to enhance the initiative and consciousness of legal theory study, and constantly strengthen the systematicness and orderliness of theoretical study.

This is also a good habit that I have cultivated for many years. I never gamble, and I seldom chat. I try to put more energy into my business study. As long as there are new laws and regulations, I always try to grasp their legislative intentions and contents in the shortest time. Through the usual study and accumulation, I constantly update my knowledge, enrich myself and improve my working ability. In addition, you can often watch, think, ask and do in your study, and give full play to the best learning effect. After I took office, I found that due to historical reasons such as overstaffing, the age structure of police officers in our hospital is aging and their cultural background is weak, but they have rich practical experience in trial work. In practice, I attach great importance to learning from them and asking them for advice. When listening to case reports, I often raise controversial issues to discuss with them, argue with each other and learn from each other's strengths to ensure the correct application of the law and seek the greatest unity of legal and social effects.

Second, work hard and do your job in a down-to-earth manner.

There are fewer people and more cases in the district court, which is in great contrast with the simplicity of my original work in the City Intermediate People's Court. After coming to the district court, how to complete the work assigned to me by the party group of the good hospital is a problem that I often think about. Personally, I think that a down-to-earth and hard-working attitude is the premise and foundation for doing a good job, and I want to influence and drive the police in the hospital to be "old oxen" in their work with practical actions. To this end, I unswervingly use the work attitude of guarding against arrogance and rashness, getting along on an equal footing, being decisive and capable, and being innovative and pragmatic, and earnestly achieve the "four excellences", that is, doing my own work well, doing the work arranged by the leaders well, doing other assistance well, and doing the work entrusted by party member well. Because I feel a great responsibility, I dare not slack off. I insist on going to work on time every day. When I am busy at work, I often use noon and evening time, and sometimes even use holidays to work overtime. I haven't taken a Chinese New Year holiday since I was transferred to the district court. Fortunately, with the joint efforts of the police in the criminal court and the trial supervision court, the work I am responsible for has achieved good results.

(1) Criminal trials have achieved remarkable results. Since 2008, the hospital has tried more than 900 criminal cases, concluded various criminal cases 1000 people, and severely punished various criminal offences. Among them, the cases of rape and forced prostitution gang headed by xx and robbery gang headed by xx were tried, and many defendants were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of 17 years to 12 years or less. In view of the rampant pyramid selling activities in xx city, our hospital also tried 68 cases of illegal detention caused by pyramid selling and sentenced 96 people, which severely curbed pyramid selling activities. On may 1 this year, the eighth amendment to the criminal law came into effect. In order to cooperate with the public security organs in cracking down on drunk driving, 90 dangerous driving cases were also tried, which played a warning role for drunk drivers and improved the soft environment for road traffic safety.

(2) Standardize sentencing work and make steady progress. Our hospital is the pilot court of sentencing standardization in the whole province and the main task of completing the pilot work. During the pilot period, I actively reported to my superiors, strengthened communication with public security and procuratorial organs, and strived for the cooperation and support of various departments. Under the specific guidance of the High Court, the pilot work has progressed steadily. I personally participated in and wrote "Trial Opinions on Sentencing Standardization of xx People's Court", "Trial Opinions on Sentencing Procedure of xx People's Court" and "Implementation Plan for Sentencing Standardization of xx People's Court", and then changed four drafts, which laid a solid foundation for the pilot work.

When organizing judges and clerks to carry out training and study on sentencing standardization, I took pains to explain to them in detail the operating essentials of the Trial Opinions on sentencing standardization. 20 10 10 1, the standardization of sentencing has been comprehensively promoted in the province. During the meeting, under the arrangement of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court, our hospital conducted a trial demonstration of XX extortion case with the new model of sentencing norms, which was well received by the participants.

Since the full implementation of standardized sentencing, our hospital has tried 387 criminal cases, accounting for 92% of the cases accepted. The appeal rate and remand rate of criminal cases tried through standardized sentencing procedures have dropped significantly compared with before. Three major changes have taken place in the criminal trial mode: First, the fairness and balance of sentencing have been realized to the greatest extent. It has improved the efficiency of criminal trial, further established the judicial authority of the court, and better realized the expected effect of social fairness and justice. It has changed the phenomenon that people often differ from person to person, from case to case, and from case to case. Through the unified sentencing standard of "addition, subtraction, multiplication and division", the sentencing process is open and transparent, more standardized and scientific. Second, through the sentencing defense procedure, let the parties know how to quantify the criminal punishment imposed by the court on the defendant, so that the defendant's interest rate can be significantly improved. Thirdly, through the quantification of minor circumstances, the defendant's compensation in criminal incidental civil cases is more active, and the satisfaction effect of the victim is significantly improved.

(3) Pay attention to the legal and social effects of criminal adjustment. Among all kinds of criminal cases accepted by our hospital, traffic accidents, intentional injuries, trouble-making and negligent deaths involving incidental civil compensation account for a large proportion. In handling these criminal incidental civil cases, I never regard civil litigation as incidental, and always put civil litigation in an important position, anxious about the victim's urgency, thinking about his thoughts and worrying about his warmth and coldness. All kinds of economic losses caused by criminal acts to victims, as long as they are reasonable and legal, we always try our best to recover and make up. In the trial of these cases, I always ask the police to do the ideological work of the parties and their relatives patiently and meticulously, mediate repeatedly, and never miss any opportunity for mediation. Sometimes, as long as both parties have the slightest intention to mediate, I will take the trouble to mediate in person, so that more than 95% of criminal incidental civil cases can be mediated before the criminal judgment is pronounced, and the compensation will be cashed. In the past three years, our hospital has recovered economic losses of130,000 yuan for the victims of criminal incidental civil cases, which was highly praised by the victims and their relatives. Example: In dealing with the traffic accident case of xx and the case that the defendant xx was illegally detained and jumped to his death for debt collection, the case handlers and I called the parties to mediate for dozens of times, and finally the two cases were properly handled, which achieved good legal and social effects.

(4) Pay close attention to inspection and supervision to promote stability and harmony. Judicial supervision is a tedious and long-term work that is difficult to achieve, and it is known as the most troublesome and difficult work of the court. Every day, we are faced with fierce confrontation from all sides. These parties not only experienced the first and second trials, but some even visited the provincial capital and Beijing many times. The complainants we contacted were victims of mental and physical injuries, criminals who shouted at everyone, and sometimes relatives of these parties came to the scene to help out. When receiving these parties, I treat "victims and criminals" equally, treat people with affection, especially criminals and their relatives, pay attention to respecting their personality, treat them as relatives, always think of them and solve problems for them everywhere. In the process of receiving these parties, I endured the disappointment from the parties about the work of the court and even my personal incomprehension, regarded myself as the punching bag of the parties, and resisted the accusations, abuse, slander and sometimes even threats of violence from a few parties. Over the past few years, I have taken over dozens of cases such as Wang XXX, Wang XXX, Lu XXX and Chen XXX.

Third, abide by the law and discipline, and always maintain a clean and honest character.

The Constitution and laws give the court the power to try, and the social contradictions contacted by the court are the most concentrated, and the judge is at the forefront of solving contradictions and disputes. This profession is doomed to be questioned by the public and public opinion if we are not careful, and our every move and word will affect the overall image of the hospital. To this end, since I took office, I have been strict with myself, honest and self-disciplined, and have always been strict with myself according to the standards of * * * party member, always playing a vanguard and exemplary role everywhere. Adhere to the "three noes", that is, not disturbed by selfishness, not tired of fame and fortune, not moved by material desires. In terms of honesty, we consciously resist "eating, taking, getting stuck, demanding, sending, driving, fishing and playing" and earnestly "do not take ill-gotten gains, illegal things, go to unclean places and do illegal things". In terms of diligence, we should do everything well, not pursue greatness, but be practical. I can be strict with myself, be lenient with others, be willing to contribute, and always keep a positive attitude in my work. In terms of personal morality, I am fair and upright, sincere and friendly to others, unite with comrades, respect leaders and old comrades, do not gamble, drink too much, and do not participate in unhealthy activities outside working hours.

In recent years, with the care of leaders at all levels and the strong support of the police in the hospital, my work has achieved certain results, and my personal political and ideological quality and moral cultivation have also improved to a certain extent.
