If you use a computer, you need a converter from rs232 to rs485 because the general computer only provides RS232 serial port.
If you use embedded video recorder, video matrix, video server, control keyboard and other special equipment to control the ball machine, the equipment generally comes with rs485 connection port.
The rs485 connection port is generally composed of R+, R-, T+, T- and G, where R+ and R- are used to receive data, and the two control lines of the ball machine are R+ and R-. T+ and T- are used to send data, and G is used for grounding. Therefore, the two control lines of the ball machine are connected to the T+ and T- terminals of the rs485 port of the control equipment through two cores. Generally, two shielding cores are used for the control lines to reduce interference, and the shielding layer can be connected to the G terminal.
The control equipment is set with the same control protocol and baud rate as the ball machine, and the ball machine can be controlled after selecting the address of the ball machine.
+-mismatch is easy to occur after switching control lines for many times. If you lose control during the first debugging, you can try to switch the control line.
