1. Spring listing: Spring is the main season for new tea, usually between March and May every year. At this time, the tea tree began a new growth cycle after winter dormancy, with fresh green leaves, vitality and good quality. In China, some famous tea producing areas, such as West Lake Longjing Tea, Wuyi Rock Tea, Daocheng Yading, etc. New tea usually comes on the market in April-May. In Japan, such as Kyoto, Shizuoka and local new teas, they can be listed in March or even in late February.
2. Autumn listing: Autumn is also an important time for new tea to be listed, usually from the end of August to September every year. Compared with spring, the taste and flavor of autumn tea are usually slightly different. Due to the difference of growing seasons, autumn tea is more mellow and tastes stronger than spring tea. In some places with a long history of tea production in China, such as Yunnan Pu 'er tea, Anhui Huangshan Mao Feng and so on. Autumn tea is usually listed from the end of August to September.
3. Listing in other seasons: In addition to the new tea in spring and autumn, there are some tea varieties that will be listed in other seasons. For example, tea is usually listed in June-July, which is the second new growth of tea trees after spring tea. Chaze is a new tea in winter, which is mainly produced in cold and humid tea-producing areas, such as Alishan tea in Taiwan Province.
