The broadband we handle generally includes landline service. We have a landline number, so we can use it by buying a landline and plugging it into the voice port in Guang Mao. The light cat has built-in voice service, and the landline is connected to the light cat through telephone lines to make calls. This voice service is essentially VOIP, voice transmission based on IP, and optical cat switches between VOIP and analog signals. We can access the voice network, use VOIP software and use the voice service of operators.

1. backup: the optical cat is plugged into USB, and the backup configuration is selected in the interface below. The configuration file of Light Cat is backed up in e8_Config_Backup directory. If there are any errors during the operation, please select Quick Restore and restart to restore to the backup state.

2. Record configuration

Record the related information of voice VLAN, including vlan id and static IP information, which will be used in future new connections.

Record the domain name and port number of the proxy server and the registration server, get the voice user name and password from the operator, and then fill this information into the SIP software. Close the telephone service in Guang Mao, deactivate the page, and then save.
