1. Jinya Tea was discovered by Zhang, the director of Deshijia Tea Farm in Sanqi City, Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province, in a nearby tea farm in the 1990s. After more than ten years of breeding, with the support of Yuyao related departments and Zhejiang University, the research on breeding characteristics, application fields and key technologies of industrialization has been systematically completed.

2. It was bred by the agricultural technology department of Guangde City, Anhui Province after nearly ten years, and has been introduced into the rare and famous tea tree germplasm resource park of Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It is the only new tea variety with optimized yellow variation in China.

3. In August 2020, at the 13th Anhui International Tea Expo, Guangde Jinya won many awards (such as the gold medal in the 2020 World Green Tea Appraisal Conference).
