The stranger said, "Go! You are a man, why don't you ask him! The giver will be human with the creator, and when he is tired, he will use the stupid bird to travel to the idle place and stay in the wild. What do you mean by ruling the world? " Ask again, the unknown man said, "You swim in the light, you are in harmony with the desert, you let nature take its course, there is no room for privacy, and the world is ruled."
Translation:
The stranger said, "Go away, you shallow-minded person. How can you make people unhappy when you open your mouth?" I want to form a partnership with the creator. When I am bored, I will fly like a bird and get rid of the' six poles', but live in a place where nothing exists and in an open and boundless environment.
Your so-called words of governing the country are like talking in a dream. How can you shake my mind? "Tiangen asked again. The nameless man said, "You should keep your nature without modification, be friends with quietism, conform to the nature of things without favoritism, and the world will be governed well." "

Extended data
The Emperor is the last chapter of Zhuangzi, which expresses Zhuangzi's thoughts on governing the country. Zhuangzi's understanding of the universe is based on Tao. He thinks that everything in the universe is muddy, so there is no difference or difference. All changes in the world are also natural, and human factors are external and additional.
Based on this, Zhuangzi's political proposition is to treat diseases without treating them, and treating diseases with inaction is the center of this article. What kind of people "should" become "emperors"? That is, people who can let nature take its course, conform to the people's feelings and teach without words.
The whole article is roughly divided into seven parts. In the first "I didn't start with a non-human", I told the ideal politician with Pu's mouth that letting others do whatever they want will never get caught in the dilemma of dichotomy. The second part, Zeng Erchong's Ignorance, points out that it is a kind of deception to formulate various codes of conduct, and it is unnecessary for politicians to do anything. If they want to force others to do something, it's like "crossing the river into the sea" and "letting mosquitoes bear it"
The third part is about "the rule of the world", which further advocates the idea of "governing by doing nothing", that is, "conforming to nature and not allowing private considerations". In the fourth part, the author puts forward the so-called "Wang Ming rule", that is, the rules of "making things complacent" and "borrowing everything"
The fifth part, "One for the End", tells the fortune-telling pot given by the wizard, indicating that only "emptiness" and "hiding" can't be measured, implicitly pointing out that you have to be vain and conform to politics. The sixth part is about "therefore, we can win things without hurting", emphasizing that for the sake of political clarity, we should look at the people and keep them without hurting "winning things".
The rest is the seventh part, which tells the story of Hundun's death because of injury and loss of authenticity.
