The orchestra has successively performed under the auspices of the famous Chinese conductors Li Delun, Huang Xiaotong, Yang Hongnian, the famous educator and conductor Liu Dadong, the Canadian conductor Raoul Carlsson, the American conductor Zhang Chunhe, the French-Chinese conductor Violinist and performer Wang Taiping, my country's famous young conductor Li Xincao and others have collaborated to perform many concerts of Chinese and foreign classic works, which have been welcomed and praised by all walks of life.

In recent years, the orchestra has made great progress under the warm care of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government and the guidance of the Provincial Department of Culture. In cooperation with the national violin master Xue Wei, the famous Russian pianist Tutunov, the famous Chinese violinists Yu Lina, Sheng Zhongguo, the famous violinists Su Li and Xie Nan living in the United States, and the world-famous master Tang Muhai, the famous In the cooperation with Korean conductor Hyun Dong-hyuk who lives in the United States, and famous Chinese conductors Peng Jiapeng, Jiang Jinyi, and Hu Yongyan, they have all received high praise.

In 2006, the orchestra performed at the Sydney Opera House and performed jointly with the German Brandenburg State Symphony Orchestra at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, which was highly praised. In particular, the Henan 2009 New Year Concert performed in collaboration with the China National Symphony Orchestra was a great success, bringing the orchestra to a new level.
