Also, how to explain: The green bamboos are all Dharmakaya. The gloomy yellow flowers are nothing but prajna
Volume 15 of the teachings of Zen Master Mahamati Pujue
The monk asked Master Zhongguo. Good Cloud. The green bamboos are all Dharmakaya. The gloomy yellow flowers are nothing but prajna. Some people say that this is a heresy. There are also believers who are confused and don’t know what to do.
The Imperial Master said. This covers the realm of Samantabhadra and Manjusri. Not all ordinary people can trust and accept it. All are consistent with the meaning of the Mahayana Sutra. Therefore the Huayan Sutra says. The Buddha's body fills the Dharma Realm. Appears before all groups are alive. It feels overwhelming to just go with the flow. And always stay here on the Bodhi Seat. The green bamboo does not come from the Dharma Realm. Isn't it illegal?
And the Prajna Sutra clouds. Color is boundless, so Prajna is also boundless. Huang Hua is neither more than color. Isn't it prajna? Profound words. It is difficult for those who are unconscious to take action.
The leader of Huayan Seat asked Monk Dazhu again. Why doesn't the Zen master allow the green bamboo to be full of Dharma body and the gloomy yellow flowers are nothing but prajna?
Zhu said. Dharmakaya has no image. It should be shaped with green bamboo. Prajna is ignorant. It appears to Huang Hua. It is not the yellow flowers and green bamboos but the Prajna Dharmakaya.
So the scriptures say. The Buddha's true body is like empty space. The corresponding object appears like the moon in the water. Huang Huaruo is Prajna. Prajna is the same as ruthlessness. If the green bamboo is Dharmakaya. Green bamboo can also be used. Will the host do it?
The Lord said. Don't understand this.
Zhu said. If you see a sexual person. The Tao is also obtained. Tao is not something that can only be said casually. Don't stop right and wrong. If you don't see the sex person. It is said that green bamboo means green bamboo. Talk about Huang Hua and talk about Huang Hua. It is said that the Dharmakaya stagnates. Saying Prajna does not know Prajna. So it's all a matter of debate.
Master (Zen Master Mahamati Pujue) said. The Imperial Master maintains that all green and green bamboos are Dharmakaya. Stand firm to the end. The big pearl breaking through the green bamboo is not the Dharmakaya. Straight to the bottom. The old man will make the final decision. Will one break the bottom. There is no need to mention it if it is collected in one place. Don't dare to move him at all. You need scholars to have a keen eye. Penetrate the King Kong Circle of the National Master. He also swallowed the large bead-bottomed chestnut thorn. Those with eyes can tell. Those who don’t have eyes may not smile.
Originally there was some information about Zen koans about green bamboos and yellow flowers. Unfortunately, it is useless to say more. They are all literal conventions, so I won’t record any more!
One flower and one world, one leaf and one Tathagata, can only be understood by those who have a clear mind and see their nature. Please do not understand it through conscious thinking and logic, you have to understand it! ! !

It should be one flower and one world, one leaf and one bodhi? Or is it one flower, one world, one leaf, one Tathagata?
One flower, one world, one leaf, one bodhi
This is derived from the Buddhist scriptures. Legend: Buddha (Sakyamuni) was in Lingshan, and everyone asked him for Dharma. The Buddha didn't say anything, he just picked up a flower and showed it to everyone. All the disciples were puzzled, but only the Venerable Kassapa (ie "Maha Kassapa", the head of the ten disciples of the Buddha and the first founder of Zen Buddhism) smiled, because he was the only one who understood the truth.
So later he entered the "Ultimate World" and became the successor of Sakyamuni. Before his nirvana, the Buddha said: After my nirvana, all my teachings will be carried forward by him (Maha Kassapa).
Later the Buddha explained: One flower is one world, one grass is one heaven, one leaf is one Tathagata, one sand is one bliss, one square is one pure land, one smile is one worldly connection, one thought is one tranquility. It's all a state of mind. If there is nothing in the heart, one flower can create a world, one grass can create a paradise. After understanding these, one flower and one grass is the whole world, and the whole world is empty like flowers and grass. The mystery of the universe lies in an ordinary flower. Later, these words were condensed into the classic saying "One flower, one world, one leaf, one bodhi".
So how to understand this sentence?
1. "One flower, one world", the Buddha means: as long as you put aside all selfish thoughts and study with concentration, you will discover the principle of reincarnation of all things from the growth and change of a flower. Seeing the big from the small, and by extension, we can understand the development laws of the entire natural world and the human world. The Buddha's Sumeru Seat is a pure lotus flower, symbolizing the reincarnation of all things and the Buddha's noble character.
2. "One leaf, one bodhi". The Buddha became a Buddha through cultivation under the bodhi tree. He sat under the bodhi tree, watching the bodhi leaves sprout and fall over and over again. After experiencing the cold and heat, he understood the world. The changes and reincarnations of Buddhism, and the experiences gained through cultivation were written on the Bodhi leaves. This was the original Buddhist sutra. Later, people used the Bodhi leaves as the synonym for the Buddhist sutra (Bodhi Sutra). The meaning of this sentence is: From the growth and change of every Bodhi leaf, we can understand the true meaning of the development and change of all things in the world. Every Bodhi leaf carries the principles of Buddhism.
Buddhism is profound and profound. Only by eliminating distracting thoughts and studying it with concentration can we understand its mysteries. Only by understanding its true meaning can we understand the influence of Buddhism on the reserved but profound and vast spiritual world of the Chinese nation. This is what distinguishes Buddhism from other teachings. Amitabha...

One flower, one world, one leaf, one Tathagata. How to understand?
This is the realm of the reality of all dharma realized after the enlightenment of Buddhism. This is the supreme and wonderful meaning of the Huayan Sect of the Tang Dynasty: multiple phases merge into each other, and the large and small are harmonious and harmonious.
1. Scientific answer: Buddhism believes that a grain of sand can see three thousand worlds. Now the science is called cosmic holography. The most interesting thing is the scientific understanding of matter. It was once thought to be composed of molecules, and later it was discovered that there were atoms, and then it was thought to be protons, etc. With the current quantum mechanics, the reality of matter has been dissolved to the point where only light waves remain. . If it continues to develop, we still don’t know what will happen. As early as two thousand years ago, Buddhism believed that "all things are empty and have no inherent nature" - emptiness. It is the emptiness of "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color, color is emptiness, and emptiness is color." But thousands of lights have one color, and the light is unobstructed. Buddhism reveals the true nature of things earlier than science!
2. Literary answer: The universe is contained in the leaves, and there is a cave in the petals. Indeed, one flower and one world, one leaf and one Tathagata! You can't say this without being there in person!
3. In "A Brief Introduction to Zongjing Lu" written by teacher Nan Huaijin, it is said: "Everyone who studies Buddhism knows a saying: 'If you don't read Huayan , I don’t know how rich and noble Buddhism is, that is to say, it is all-encompassing and profound, and its thoughts are unimaginably profound and broad. I also often remind you that all religions and philosophies in the world, in general, look at this life as gray and pessimistic. ; Look at this world as miserable and bad, leave quickly and go to another world. We have never been to this other world, but because we have never been there, we don’t know if it is good or not, but because we have never been there, we always feel it is better. Well! Only in the Avatamsaka Sutra, all the good, evil, beauty, ugliness, etc. in this universe are nothing but the Avatamsaka world, and everything is the most true, the most good, and the most beautiful. Yiyeyi Tathagata. 'How to transform into such a state is a matter of your mind. This is the principle of Huayan."
The book also says, "The seat of Samantabhadra is as large as the void." The Lotus is hidden. The Avatamsaka Sutra sees the universe as a lotus, not a lotus in a botanical garden. Eight or six petals don’t count. It is a thousand-leaf lotus with a thousand petals, and the layers are endless. “One flower, one world, one flower.” "Ye Yi Tathagata" has a lotus leaf growing on each petal, and there are a thousand lotus leaves growing on each leaf. This universe is so layered and interconnected, one by one. It moves the whole body, so it is called 'Hua Zang World'."
4. "The Hua Ye Sutra" says: "There are five colored stems growing on the Buddha soil, one flower and one world, one leaf and one Tathagata," and the "Brahma Net Sutra" "The scroll says: I am now sitting on the lotus platform in Lushena, surrounded by thousands of flowers, and thousands of Sakyamuni appear again." A country with tens of billions of flowers, a country with a Sakyamuni, each sitting on a Bodhi tree, attains Buddhahood in one moment.
5. Traditional Chinese medicine’s pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, palm diagnosis and facial diagnosis can tell whether the body is healthy or not at just one point. Taoist physiognomy, by looking at a person's face, listening to their voice, or looking at their steps, you can know the person's character and determine the person's life. A connoisseur will know the character of a person by observing his handwriting. Even like Shefu, Yi Jing Zhandu and so on. These all mean one flower, one world, and the whole picture can be reflected from one point.
6. Natural principles. There is water in a thousand rivers, and the moon appears in a thousand rivers. All water appears in one month, and all water is captured in one month. The same is true for all Buddhas Tathagata. This is the realm of One Leaf One Tathagata.
7. You can refer to the work of Master Du Shun, the founder of Huayan Sect: "Huayan One Vehicle and Ten Mysterious Gates"
What does "one flower, one world, one thing, one Tathagata" mean?
Everything has its own world, and all kinds of worlds are within the world. The principles expressed in Ichika's world are the same across the world. Tathagata, Buddha Dharma, ultimate truth. Each leaf contains the truth taught by Tathagata, and one leaf represents everything. Everything is the same, but the opinions are the same.
One flower and one world, one leaf and one Tathagata, one sand and one bliss, one smile and one dust. If there is nothing in the heart, lotus flowers will bloom everywhere.
There have always been many sayings about the origin of this sentence: "One flower, one world" [1], one sand, one paradise. In fact, it is a literary and artistic saying of a society without society, and an artistic saying of one person, one world. It is the slogan of micro-social society. Most of the other sources are stolen from the micro-society, just like "I am in my heart, I am" has been derived from many sayings in "Ultimate Paradise Dream", "One flower, one world, one grain of sand, one paradise." Just like thinking about a person, his figure fills the entire sky like sunshine. A social mythical world, a micro-social future world. "This is the original slogan. It's a pity that it was misappropriated by the secret agents with the connivance of the police and whispering earphones. Flower refers to the colorful creatures in "Ultimate Paradise Dream", which is a literary and artistic logic; sand refers to a similar logic, and also metaphors the founder's ordinary life. Buddha said: A flower is a world, a tree is a floating life, a grass is a paradise, a leaf is a Tathagata, a sand is a bliss, a square is a pure land, a smile is a fate, and a thought is tranquility. "Buddhist Scripture": "One grain of sand is one world, one flower is one paradise." The volume of "Brahma Net Sutra" says: Lusena Buddha sits in the thousand-leaf lotus, and thousands of Sakyamuni Buddhas are transformed, each living in the thousand-leaf world. The Sakyamuni Buddha in each leaf world has transformed into tens of billions of Sakyamuni Buddhas, sitting on the Bodhi tree. "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra": The Buddha told Ma?ju?rī, "For example, in the three thousand great thousand worlds, all the vegetation, jungles, rice, hemp, bamboo and reeds, and the dust on mountains and rocks." One thing, one number, makes one Ganges. One Ganges sand, one sand one boundary. Within one realm, one dust and one calamity. In one calamity, all the accumulated dust will be converted into calamity. Tang Wo sent a couplet with the title Three Smiling Courtyard of Donglin Temple in Mount Lushan: the bridge spans the Tiger River, the three religions have three origins, and the three people have three laughing words; the lotus blooms in the monk's house, one flower and one world, one leaf and one Tathagata. "The Diamond Sutra, Chapter 2": "The sands of the Ganges are equal to the sands of the Ganges. One sand is in one world. All living beings have one mind. Then there are several kinds of minds. The Tathagata has pure five eyes. They can all be seen and known." "The Great Explanation of the Sutra Sutra of Great Encyclopedia": "There are hundreds of thousands of billions of monks in the world, and there are so many worlds in one river." "Quotations of the New Zen Master Huanglong Dieshin": Send a Zen man holding an alms bowl to the spring scenery. Five leaves bloom and seven leaves bloom. Within the child, there are branches and fruits. One flower and one leaf come together. "Guanglu by Zen Master Fohai Xiantang": "One flower and one leaf is the Tathagata. One Buddha returns to the earth in one moment." "Old Man Hanshan's Sleepwalking Collection Volume 37": Huaidu Thousand Buddha Temple recalls the Thousand Flowers and Seven Treasures Terrace. One flower and one leaf come together. I don’t know if I have spent enough time with Buddha recently. It's like the shock to Fa Lei back then. There is no origin at all here. Just like "one day, one place, one saint", it is a rhetoric.
