Master Zhang prayed for the plague and Lieutenant Hong went to the demon by mistake
In the third year of Emperor Renzong’s reign, the plague prevailed, and Lieutenant Hong went there on the order of the emperor. Longhu Mountain in Xinzhou, Jiangxi Province, invited the Heavenly Master Zhang Zhenren of the Han Dynasty to come to the court to fight against the epidemic.
Lieutenant Hong went up the mountain to seek an audience with the Heavenly Master, but failed. Returning to the abbot, he ignored the dissuasion of all the Taoist priests and opened the "Palace of Conquering Demons" and released the demons, causing great disaster. He ordered his followers to conceal the evil spirit and report falsely to the Heavenly Master for eradicating the plague, and was rewarded by Renzong.
The first chapter of "Water Margin" contains a description of a tiger:

Stretching out the waist and arms, swinging the tail ferociously, shaking the head and making a thunderclap
All the foxes and rabbits in the mountains are hiding in the stream, and the roe deer are hiding in the stream
The tiger's fur is golden yellow, its claws have eighteen silver hooks, its eyes are like lightning, its tail is like a whip, its mouth is like a bloody basin, and its teeth are like a halberd. It stretches its waist and arms in a ferocious posture, sways its tail and shakes its head with a thunderous sound, like a fox and rabbit in the mountains. Everyone hid when they saw it, and there was no trace of the roe deer in the stream.
Tiger is powerful.
