Mencius said that Song Goujian said, "Is it easy to swim? My children travel: people know, but it is also noisy; People don't know, and they are embarrassed. " He said, "How can you be so noisy?"
He said, "If you respect morality, music and righteousness, you can make a scene. Therefore, a scholar who is poor and disloyal can't get away from it. Poor and disloyal, so the scholar has his own way; People are not disappointed because they can't get rid of Tao. Ancient people, success, Zejia people; If you don't succeed, cultivate your morality and see the world. If you are poor, you will be alone, and if you are good, you will help the world. "

Mencius said: "Respect for virtue, love for benevolence and righteousness can make you feel at ease. Therefore, the scholar is poor without losing his righteousness; Don't deviate from morality when you are prominent. If you are poor, you will not lose your righteousness, so you will be peaceful and complacent; People won't be disappointed because they didn't deviate from morality when they stood out. In ancient times, people's success benefited the people; When frustrated, we should cultivate ourselves to appear in the world. If you are poor, you will be immune to it, and if you are out, you will help the world.
