How to attend and evaluate classes efficiently
Yang Fumeng's abstract: "Take its strengths and make up for its shortcomings". For a front-line teacher, attending classes is an essential content. Finding advantages from other excellent teachers and using them for their own use is an effective means to make their basic teaching skills more solid. And class evaluation is an all-round evaluation of the lecturer's classroom after listening to the lecture. Therefore, attending classes is the premise of evaluating classes. Only by attending classes carefully can we objectively evaluate classes. Everyone said: "Listening to a good class is a wonderful enjoyment; Evaluating classes is also a kind of beautiful enjoyment. However, only by listening and commenting can we get this kind of enjoyment. " But to be able to listen and comment, there should be two foundations: one is the learning foundation of educational theory; The second is to have a practical basis for listening and commenting more. With these two foundations, plus my own teaching experience accumulation, there will be a qualitative leap in class attendance and evaluation, and then the expected results will be achieved. Keywords: the effect of attending classes and evaluating classes Some time ago, I listened to several public classes in Shahe No.2 Primary School in Ganyu County, as well as the lecture on "How to attend classes and evaluate classes" given by Mr. Sun Yan from Li Qijin's studio, which impressed me deeply. Nowadays, class evaluation has become an effective means for educators' teaching research. Therefore, it is particularly important to vigorously carry out the activities of attending lectures and evaluating classes and improve the problems existing in teaching. Teacher Sun Yan said that teachers should do three things before, during and after class: 1. Be prepared before class, that is, be familiar with the teaching materials taught by the teaching teacher; 2. Carefully observe the records in class; 3. After listening to the class, you should think carefully and sort it out, that is, evaluate the class. So how to attend classes and evaluate classes to achieve efficient results? First of all, in class, some teachers only pay attention to the teacher's teaching and ignore the students' learning. We know that students are the main body of learning. Therefore, we should not only pay attention to teachers' teaching, but also pay attention to students' learning, that is, to students' mastery. Make some preparations before class. Before class, we should make some preparations, just as Mr. Sun Yan said, that is, we should be familiar with the contents of the textbooks taught by the lecturers. In other words, it is equivalent to the teacher's lesson preparation or the students' preview. However, some teachers may have questions: I am going to class, not to lecture. Why should I prepare lessons? Yes, we go to class, but what do we use to evaluate the teacher's class? With what to compare their teaching ability? Where should I improve my teaching? In addition to the general evaluation criteria, only by carefully preparing lessons in person and being familiar with the teaching content can we put forward pertinent suggestions and evaluations for teachers' lessons, find places to learn from and fundamentally improve their teaching ability. So be a teacher and prepare lessons carefully. In this way, it is also beneficial to prepare for the evaluation activities after class. Now our school is carrying out an activity, that is, all teachers should have a thorough understanding of the textbooks of their subjects, including the textbooks of grades one to six, so that they will be handy in teaching, and they can obviously compare themselves with the teachers in class or find out their own shortcomings. Second, in class, pay attention to the teacher. What aspects of the teacher should the listener pay attention to? 1. Pay attention to the teaching objectives set by the teacher. Including: what knowledge students want to learn; To what extent should we master it; What kind of emotional goals to achieve; How to present goals, etc. 2. Pay attention to introducing new courses. What guidance did the tutor give when introducing the new class? What language is used for transitional cohesion; What activities did the students participate in and so on. 3. Pay attention to teaching methods and classroom atmosphere. What teaching methods and means teachers use in teaching; What kind of learning methods are used to guide students' learning; How is the classroom teaching atmosphere? How to interact between teachers and students? 4. Pay attention to the teaching steps and contents. Look at the framework of the class; Where is the highlight of the whole class; Whether the important and difficult points are grasped accurately; Whether there are redundant ingredients; Whether there is a clear center line, etc. Of course, there are still many aspects worthy of our attention, such as: how effective are teachers in using multimedia and courseware? What is the language organization ability of teachers? What is the teacher's teaching attitude? Wait a minute. Third, in the classroom, paying attention to students is the main body of learning, and the teacher is only the guide of this main body. Therefore, we should pay more attention to the basic situation of students in class. 1. Attach importance to students' participation. Teaching is a bilateral activity between teachers and students. Whether students can actively participate in the classroom also determines whether this class is a quality class. 2. Pay attention to students' thinking ability. Students' learning depends on their own thinking and exploration. In class, students' participation is very important. Participants should not only pay attention to students' participation, but also their ability to think and discuss problems. 3. Pay attention to students' ability to ask questions. For example, in math class, there are often some examples for students to ask questions themselves. At this time, the listener should pay attention to observe how the students put forward a new question. Of course, at this time, the teacher will guide the students and pay attention to the teacher's guiding methods. Fourth, the attendance record is the most important. Taking lecture notes is an indispensable job for participants. During the class, students should concentrate on writing notes while listening and write brief comments at any time. Specifically, we should pay attention to the following aspects: First, teachers' teaching behavior, including: teaching attitude, teaching methods, writing on the blackboard, language ability and so on. Second, the teacher's discipline level: the formulation of teaching objectives, teaching strategies and ideas, and the ability to deal with the relationship between students and teaching materials; Third, the highlights and shortcomings of this course, the research value of this course; The fourth is my feelings and experiences at any time. In short, when listening to lectures, we should pay full attention to all aspects of information in the classroom, and the more detailed the records, the better. Only in this way can we really gain something after a class, achieve the expected results, and make full preparations for the later class evaluation activities. Then, how to carry out the evaluation activities after attending classes? After class, teachers and lecturers should evaluate the class in time, and the lecturers should communicate with each other on the feelings of listening to the class and the evaluation of this class, find out the advantages, point out the disadvantages and actively communicate with the lecturers. In this process, we should express our views on some aspects, make necessary supplements to similar speeches, and reach a unified understanding of the debate through communication. Attention should be paid to making records, and it is best to have a written record of the evaluation process for future reference. This is a key step to gather the wisdom of many people and achieve common improvement. In the course evaluation activities, we should do the following. First, the tutor's self-evaluation. There are new teachers, experienced old teachers, teaching experts and so on, each with its own merits. As a class evaluation teacher, if you want to achieve the purpose of class evaluation, you must learn to read and listen to the instructor's self-evaluation, so as to make judgments and comments, and you can't go it alone. Because "different people have different opinions", there is no fixed method for evaluation. Only when the reviewer and the lecturer reach an agreement can the content of the review be implemented. The evaluation will achieve the expected effect and be meaningful. Second, audience comments (1) comments on teaching objectives and teaching methods. After the instructor's self-evaluation, the listener can comment on the teaching objectives, teaching methods and means of this class. Teaching goal is the starting point and destination of teaching, and its correct formulation and realization is the main criterion to measure the quality of a class. The current teaching goal system consists of three dimensions-"knowledge and skills; Process and method; Emotions, attitudes and values ". It embodies the value pursuit of "student-oriented development" in the new curriculum. The selection and application of teaching methods and means is another important content of classroom evaluation. Comments on teaching methods and means include the following main contents: 1. See if the teaching method is applicable. 2. Look at the diversity of teaching methods. 3. Look at the reform and innovation of teaching methods. (2) Evaluation of teaching effect. For the teaching effect, first of all, it depends on whether the teaching task has been completed within the specified time, and whether the target requirements have been achieved in terms of knowledge transfer and ability training; Secondly, it depends on students' performance, whether they take the initiative to learn, whether they can summarize the main contents of a new lesson, whether they can make an independent classroom summary and make an accurate self-evaluation of their own learning. Of course, students can also evaluate this class from many aspects when evaluating the class. Therefore, evaluation activities become meaningful, rather than superficial. It can encourage participants to point out the advantages and existing problems of lecturers and put forward teaching suggestions, so as to learn from each other's strong points in the teaching process. It is also conducive to guiding teachers to find their own advantages and disadvantages, promoting the development of advantages, overcoming disadvantages and further improving their teaching level in future teaching.
