The troops stationed in Donggu saved the Red Fourth Army from danger, promoted the construction of the Red Second and Red Fourth Regiments, summed up and exchanged experiences in the construction of base areas, and promoted the further development of the revolutionary base areas in Donggu, which was an important event in the revolutionary history of southwest Jiangxi and provided a good opportunity for the establishment of the central base areas.
