Don't impose on others what you don't want to bear. "Don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you" is the principle first established by Confucius, the founder of Confucianism. That is, when you ask others to do something, first of all, you are willing to do it yourself, or you have done it yourself like others, then your request is relieved; The popular understanding is that if you can't do it yourself, you can't ask others to do it.

This sentence reveals the important principles of dealing with interpersonal relationships. Confucius said that people should treat others with their own behavior as a reference. People should have a broad mind. When dealing with people, don't be narrow-minded, be generous and forgive others.

2, don't do it with evil, don't do it with good.

Don't do it with small evils, and don't do it with small goodness. This comes from the suicide note of Liu Bei, Emperor Zhaolie of Shu Han, from The Three Kingdoms, Shu Shu and Ancestral Ancestors. It means don't do it just because it is a minor bad thing, and don't care about it just because it is a minor good thing.

Many small good deeds will become great good deeds for the world, while many small evil deeds will be "enough to confuse the country".

Liu Beiwen of the Three Kingdoms said, "Don't do small evil, don't do small good." . This sentence is about the truth of being a man, as long as it is good, even small kindness should be done; As long as it is "evil", even a small evil can not be done. This sentence deserves to be known and remembered by the world. Later, the world preached that "don't do evil, don't do good."

3, a threesome, there must be my teacher; Choose the good and follow it, change the bad.

Interpretation: Choose the advantages of others to learn and correct my own shortcomings (if I have them).

Zi's "threesome, there must be my teacher" embodies his spirit of learning modestly. Confucius suggested that we should listen more and see more things we don't know, study hard and oppose the practice of creating things out of thin air and knowing nothing. This is what he demands of himself and his students.

The phrase "choose good and follow it" shows the spirit of Confucius' self-cultivation and humility. It includes two aspects: on the one hand, it is the spirit of learning with an open mind and learning from others.

On the other hand, people who have not changed well should take warning from their shortcomings and reflect on themselves. This is the spirit of self-cultivation. In this way, no matter how good or bad people get along, they can be teachers.
